We have recently received approval from all of our local unions to participate in the STAR Program. This is a training incentive program designed to lower the costs for our contractors as well as insure that our members lead safe and productive lives for them and their families.

The FTI of DC 77 is pleased to announce that we will be holding our first annual STAR Banquet on December 6th, 2008 from 10 AM - 2 PM Eastern Time, and from 9 AM - 1 PM Central time. There will be four locations:
Members Eligible from Locals 1293 and Local 57 will be held at Local Union 1293

Members Eligible from Locals 226 and 437 will be held at Local 226
2715 Belle Arbor Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37406
Members Eligible from Locals 1756 and 1169 will be held at Local 1756

Members Eligible from Locals 1940 and 193 will be held at the FTI Training Center, 4914 Courtney Dr, Forest Park, GA 30297
We had 189 members qualify, and they will be eligible to win the grand prize, a new Ford F150 Pickup.
